Thanks, I'll have a look at this command line switch.
To be honest, I'm still unsure if it's best to have it as quiet as possible (in which case it might be hard to judge if anything is happening at all during the FTP downloads), or as verbose as possible (which might be frightening for more novice users). The switch to a more quiet FTP transfer was done pretty much at the last minute, as before that I was using it with the whole FTP progress displayed. I'll give it more thought to figure out which one I prefer.
