About
Mage: Chronicles of the Unknown is
a role-playing campaign that's set in Whitewolf's
World of Darkness background, using their Mage: The Ascension
game system. After playing together in another Mage campaign for nearly three
years, we eventually started to look at it as if it was some kind of regular
TV show. So when we started planning this new campaign, we decided to build
the whole website as if it truly was some TV show. Unfortunately, this new campaign
only lasted a couple of months before we decided to start a new one, for various
reasons (incompetent characters and lack of interest from some of the players
were some of them).
The story happens in the present. It's about MAGI (Magellan
Alternative Global Investigations), a small group of mages who investigates into
paranormal and unusual events, and seem to involve magic or other mystical
powers. These might go from visiting haunted houses, trying to figure out why
the police is trying to hide what happened in that backlane during that night
where a witness reported in hushed tones that he saw someone biting the victim's
neck, or the rumors about a cursed mummy that's being shown at the local museum
after the crew of the boat which carried it all died of unusual sickness. The
group is trying to find out wether these events are genuine, and to learn more
about the presence of Magick in our world.
This website will contain various information regarding
our games, the characters involved, and various interesting tidbits about it.
It might look totally pointless to many visitors, but this is primarily done
for our own enjoyment. However you can feel free to Email us your questions,
comments, fan arts, etc...
...And no, there will definitely not be any convention,
autograph session or Christmas special :)
