It began in 1998 if I remember correctly... We hadn't been playing for over a year, and an attempt at starting a new AD&D campaign with a new group failed. We then decided to turn toward a game system that was new to half of us: Whitewolf's Mage: The Ascension. The system gave us more freedom as experienced roleplayers. We then began a game that served as an introduction to the group. After a few gaming session we changed Storyteller, and began a new campaign. This campaign lasted for about three years. .

The story is about a group of mages located in Chicago. Gathered around an FBI agent on a case of disappearing childrens, the group then stayed together, and over the years got involved in werewolf affairs, a vengence case for the murder of their leader's mentor, and the hunt for a renegade mage. Last time we played, the group was trying to organize a movement aiming at freeing Chicago from the stranglehold from the Technocracy.
